    1. Error: Risk Settings – symbol is blocked #

    Caution

The error “symbol is blocked” in Risk Settings occurs in ProjectX because a specific trading symbol has been added to the Symbol Blocks list under Risk Settings.

    Solution

    To solve this issue:
    1. Go to ProjectX platform.
    2. Navigate to Risk Settings.
    3. Locate the Symbol Blocks section.
    4. Remove the symbol from the Current Symbol Blocks list by selecting it and deleting.
This action will unblock that symbol and resolve the error.

    Caution

This error occurs because the current time (2025-10-01 18:54:02 EST) falls within the manual trade pause window, during which new orders are not allowed.

    Solution

This error occurs because your order was placed outside the active trading session or during a manual trade pause. Please check your Trading Time Settings and ensure trading is active.

    4. Brackets cannot be used with Position Brackets. You must enable Auto OCO Brackets. #

    Caution

This error occurs because your account is still using the old Position Brackets system, which is no longer supported.

    Solution
