Introduction #
Automating TradingView strategies alerts in Rithmic allows traders to execute trades directly from Pine Script strategies without manual intervention. This guide shows how to connect TradingView strategy alerts with your Rithmic account using PickMyTrade. From symbol configuration to SL/TP settings and multi-account execution, everything is covered to ensure reliable automation.
1. Select Your Strategy on TradingView #
Choose a TradingView strategy that generates buy/sell signals automatically.

2. Enter Trading Symbol for Rithmic Execution #
Specify the trading symbol for the asset you wish to trade (e.g., NQMS
).

2.1 Required for Specific Stop Loss Types #
Entering a symbol is mandatory if you plan to use stop-loss calculations based on Ticks or Total Loss.
2.2 Symbol Mapping for Rithmic #
If the symbol doesn’t exist or isn’t mapping correctly:
➔ Set it up first in PickMyTrade before trades can occur on that symbol.
2.3 Using Different Symbols for Alerts and Execution #
Want to send an alert from one symbol but trade another? You can!
- Example:
➔ You’re usingNQ
on your TradingView chart for the alert.
➔ But you want the actual trade to happen onNQMS
.
➔ In this case, enterNQMS
in the PickMyTrade symbol field.
2.4 What Happens if No Symbol is Entered? #
If you don’t enter a symbol here, PickMyTrade will simply take the trade based on the chart symbol used in your TradingView alert.
3. Confirm Exit Handling in TradingView #
Confirm if your strategy uses multiple exits (e.g., TP1, TP2).
3.1 Multiple Exits (TP1, TP2)? #
- NO: If your strategy does not manage exits, you’ll need to configure Stop Loss (SL) and Take Profit (TP) settings manually in PickMyTrade.

3.2 Stop Loss and Take Profit Configuration #

4. Account Selection and Setup for Rithmic #
Choose whether to execute trades in multiple accounts or a specific account.
Would you like to add multiple accounts or select a specific account for trade execution?
Answer: YES (Upon selecting YES, additional configuration options become available.)
Update User Settings:Make changes to your account here. Click “Save” when you’re done.
4.1 Add Rithmic Login in Current PickMyTrade Account #

RITHMIC Acc. Name | BG28198 | Enter the Rithmic account name exactly as it appears in the trading platform. |
Option | QUANTITY MULTIPLIER / RISK PERCENTAGE | Choose QUANTITY MULTIPLIER to adjust trade sizes or RISK PERCENTAGE to manage risk per trade. |
QUANTITY MULTIPLIER | 1 (if selected) | If a Quantity Multiplier of 2 is set, all trade sizes will be doubled.Example: If the usual trade size is 5 contracts, and a multiplier of 2 is applied, the system will place trades with 10 contracts. |
RISK PERCENTAGE | 2% (if selected) | If you set a Risk Percentage of 2%, the system will risk that portion per trade. Example: With an account balance of $50,000 and a 2% risk setting, the maximum risk per trade will be $1,000. |
4.2 Add Rithmic Account in Another PickMyTrade Account

5. Copying & Setting Up Alerts in TradingView #
Once you’ve configured your alert settings in PickMyTrade, follow these steps to generate alerts in TradingView for automated trading with Rithmic:
- Click “Generate Alert” in PickMyTrade.
- Go to TradingView and click the “+” icon to create a New Alert.
- Paste the copied alert code into the message box.
- Click “Copy Webhook URL” in PickMyTrade and paste it into TradingView’s Webhook URL field.
- Ensure the Webhook URL is correctly placed in TradingView’s notification settings.
- Click “Create Alert” to activate automated trading.
