# Settings in PickMyTrade

## **1. Introduction**

This guide explains **how Settings in PickMyTrade** help you manage trading configurations for smooth and error-free automation. The **Settings section** plays a critical role in aligning trading parameters with broker-specific requirements across platforms like Interactive Brokers (IBKR), Rithmic, and TradeLocker.

## **2. **Symbol Configuration****

Configure trading parameters for each symbol:

## **3. Creating New Symbol Settings**

Manually create configurations if a symbol isn’t pre-defined

**This section allows users to configure new trading settings, including:**

- **Symbol:** Enter the asset you want to trade.
- **Order Type:** Select order execution type (e.g., market, limit).
- **Quantity:** Define trade size.
- **Lot Size:** Specify the lot size per trade.
