# ProjectX Error Codes & Fixes for TopstepX Traders

### 0 – Success

**Meaning:** Your trade request worked!  
**Fix:** No action needed.

### 1 – Account Not Found

**Why it happens:**

- You’re using the wrong account ID
- Your Topstep account is inactive

**Fix:**

- Double-check your account ID
- Make sure your Topstep account is funded and active

### 2 – Order Rejected

**Why it happens:**

- You hit a loss limit
- You’re trying to trade outside market hours
- You broke a Topstep rule (like position size)
- Subscription expired

**Fix:**

- Wait until the next trading day
- Review Topstep rules
- Make sure your subscription is active
- Reduce order size if it exceeds limits

### 3 – Insufficient Funds

**Why it happens:**

- Your account doesn’t have enough balance
- Buying power is too low for that trade

- Lower your trade size
- Check your account balance from your ProjectX dashboard
