## **1. Introduction**

This guide explains **how pausing automated trading in PickMyTrade** works and when to use it. With this feature, you can temporarily halt trade execution **without interrupting alert delivery**. It’s particularly helpful when you need to evaluate market conditions, tweak your strategy, or perform account updates — all while keeping real-time alerts flowing.

## **2. Pausing Automated Trading (Under Alerts Section)**

In the Alerts section, users have the ability to pause automated trading by clicking the Pause Account button. When the account is paused:

- The status changes to “Account Paused” with a red indicator.
- Alerts will still be received but will not be processed or executed.
